A: It’s not advised running diesel engines for a long period of time not underload. We would advise ensuring vessel is secured and engage either forward and/or reverse with minimal load.
Q: What should I check before winter storage?
A: You should always ensure that the engine has been flushed and ran through with antifreeze, perform an oil and filter change to remove contaminants and fill your fuel tank to prevent condensation.
